The Shastasaurus' saddle has a periscope function that works exactly as a , and because the Shasta saddle only requires level 100 to unlock and a to craft it is easier to get the saddle instead of the binoculars, albeit much more expensive to do so, and it can only be used to see aquatic creatures or creatures close to the beach.
Combat Support
With the Shastasaurus' hefty health pool and myriad of secondary abilities, it serves as a great disruption to enemy aquatic forces. the Shastasaurus' saddle can shoot torpedoes if the Shasta has Rocket Propelled Grenades in its inventory. The damage of these torpedoes does NOT scale with the Shasta's melee damage but still do considerable damage to structures, especially wood and stone structures. When tested against lone wild Megalodons, the torpedoes did 806 damage in tandem with a secondary 250 damage hit.
