Combatant
The Deinosuchus has excellent base stats that allows it to be a good battle mount but excels against large targets thanks to its Giga Bite applying a unique debuff called "Broken Bones". This increases the damage that they take from all sources and if they move, they'll suffer percent-based damage per second akin to a bleed effect. This allows them to take on some of the largest apex creatures on maps such as Giganotosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, and even the mighty Titanosaur. (Level…
Boss Killer
With a drag weight of only 300, the Deinosuchus can be brought into boss arenas. While they can no longer afflict bosses with Broken Bones using Giga Bite, their high damage output and general durability keep them as competitive options.
PvP
Due to the fact that its Giga Bite applies Broken Bones to its victims, the Deinosuchus can easily deter or even checkmate "turret soaking" creatures such as Stegosaurus. Once afflicted with the debuff the victim has to either endure increased damage from you and your turrets, or retreat and take heavy damage due to the debuff in the process. This is even more effective when underwater against Basilosaurus due to the Deino's increased mobility while swimming.
Tank
The Deinosuchus has a 50% damage reduction of any kind on its head, in addition to that all its body reduces the damage of many types of projectiles (See Abilities). Both damage reductions in combination with its excellent base allows the Deinosuchus to tank many kinds of damage decently, including turrets.

Tek Cave Fighter
Despite the Deinosuchus having a low height profile which can make hitting some targets more problematic, its high base stats and strong ability arsenal make it a good option to defeat the Tek Cave with an army of them.

Titanosaur Killer
The Deinosuchus's Giga Bite ability is a great option to kill Titanosaurs due to the bleed rapidly depleting their high HP pool.
